wendy-larosThe Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and advocacy for a successful business environment in West Hawai'i. One of the ways to create a successful business environment is to provide networking opportunities where our members can come together to meet, greet, and connect with other business leaders in our community.

The Chamber offers a variety of networking opportunities such as our monthly meetings called AfterHours for members and prospective members. Attendees are encouraged to promote themselves and their businesses at these gatherings of 80 to 100 people. New and prospective members are welcomed by our Ambassador Team - a group of friendly people who will introduce new and prospective members to others at the event.

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce also offers a monthly Member Orientation – a more intimate gathering held in our conference room at the Chamber. You will have a chance to introduce yourself and your business while learning about the services and benefits of membership.

Additionally, members are invited to join one of our Committees. This is one of the best ways to engage with other business leaders through purposeful and productive work for the Chamber and our community. Many Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce members have built important and lasting relationships through committee involvement. Committees include Economic Development, Education and Workforce Development, Marketing, Membership, and Sustainability.

Our Chamber has over 500 members with over 1,200 representatives – a sizeable network of business leaders in the regions of Kona and Kohala. Our members represent a wide range of industries such as agriculture, aquaculture, construction, entertainment, financial services, food service, healthcare, hospitality, retail, real estate, technology, tourism, utilities and many more.

Our hope is that as you establish rapport and build relationships, you will want to do business with one another, refer one another and so on. Ultimately, this will strengthen our local economy which in turn elevates and promotes the communities in which we live, work, play, raise our children and support our families.

We encourage you to join us this month!
