Board Member Jonathan Mitchell Named Pacific Century Fellow
Founded by former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann, the Pacific Century Fellows, is a program that identifies, encourages and helps to develop and strengthen island leaders. Members are chosen from written applications and personal interviews by a blue-ribbon panel of judges.
Board member Jonathan Mitchell of Parker Ranch joins Pacific Century Fellows as the only Hawai‘i Island recipient of the program. The Pacific Century Fellows program provide participants with direct contact with senior community, social and government leaders.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be a Pacific Century Fellow and to represent the Big Island among a group of Fellows concerned and engaged in addressing critical issues across the State,” said Mitchell.
Mitchell is excited to share insights from this experience, stating the experience will help highlight the leadership and businesses that do so much for Hawai'i Island communities.
In addition, Mitchell is a board member at Parker School and the Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference. He is also a fellow of the Consortium for Graduate Study of Management, The Toigo Foundation and Management Leadership for Tomorrow.
